Overall the dress is in wonderful, sturdy, wearable shape. It does have a few cosmetic flaws including a small 1/2 inch stain near the waist on the front and 3 pinpoint black stains near the bottom back of the skirt (See last photo). The skirt ruffle in the front looks like it may have been splashed by a puddle. It has faint dark watermarks around the bottom. All of these flaws would require close-up inspection to be noticed. None of these flaws detract. Priced accordingly.

There are a few tiny wear spots in the velvet and a very faint dark spot that appeared in the back of the skirt after steaming. The lining is discolored and is starting to shred. Could easily be patched as no one will see it. The underarms and the ribbon work on this piece is spectacular. No major flaws to note. Priced accordingly.

There is some underarm staining and discoloration as well as 2 very small stains on the bodice. The silk velvet sash has staining and a few holes - the largest being about 1/2 inch. The sash lining also is starting to come undone at hem. Sash damage is not noticeable given the drape of the piece.
