Made popular by Sir Bernard “Monty” Montgomery of the British Special Air Service during WWII, duffle coats (or some variation of them) have been a favored style of outerwear for more than 100 years. Thought to be originally inspired by 19th century Polish frock coats, these dapper jackets are a staple in every classic gentleman's wardrobe.

Fashioned in a hard-wearing, water resistant Tyrolean Loden fabric, this iconic coat features two front flap patch pockets, stitched shoulders, double thickness and a removable woolen lined hood with ties. It is lined in a colorful blanket plaid wool and fastens with four rope and wooden peg toggles.

These coats are very loose fitting, making them perfect for sport or casual wear.
