Not a common silhouette for the time period, it's clear this chic little frock took some inspiration from Eastern fashion with its demure mandarin collar and wide kimono sleeves.
Fashioned in a sturdy floral print cotton, this wonderful piece features a small white pique mandarin collar, wide bell sleeves and single side pocket. It is fitted at the waist with a slight flare at the hips.
Dress fastens up the front with buttons and has belt loops for a belt.

Condition: Very Good
The white pique collar is a little dingy with age and not a crisp white. The sleeves have previously been taken out 2.5" and the original stitch holes are visible. The blue cuff band is probably not original and was added to cover the original sleeve's raw edge during the alteration. Dress is missing its original belt. None of these flaws detract. Priced accordingly.
