You are guaranteed to feel like the Queen of the Nile in this knockout number!
Fashioned in glittering metallic gold lace, this stunning frock features brilliant carnelian red and gold sequins perfectly placed to create an almost hieroglyphic pattern on the upper half of the dress. The skirt portion of the dress features jade colored sequins in the shape of scarabs with carnelian bead accents.
The drop waist is accented with Peking jade beads in the shape of a belt. The front portion of the skirt has fan pleating at each hip to give more fullness and movement to the skirt. The back portion of the skirt has two high slits so you can Charleston the night away!
Dress has no closures and has to be pulled over head to wear.
Truly a wonderful piece for any collector or 1920s enthusiast!

This dress is in outstanding shape for its age. It does have a few minor and cosmetic flaws. There is a break in the lace under one arm, which could be backed or worn carefully as is. There are a few beads missing, but there are so many on the dress it is hardly noticeable. The slits in the back have been stitched shut a portion of the way. You can remove it to wear the dress as it was originally intended or wear as is. None of these flaws detract from this outstanding collector's piece. Priced accordingly.
