Although it has been 98 years since Howard Carter unearthed the secrets of King Tut's tomb, Egyptomania is still alive and well among collectors and enthusiasts.

These beautiful earrings are a testament to the Tutmania craze that swept the nation in the 1920s.

Made of intricately designed brass stampings and accented with jade green glass, these wonderful earrings feature a brass Egyptian pharaoh head dangling in the center.

Earrings dangle from a screwback post.

Brass has tarnished in places. One of the glass dangles has small chip on the bottom flat edge. Does not change the shape of the drop, but it feels rough to the touch. These were probably originally purchased at a five and dime, so the quality of the glass is not as nice as other Czech glass pieces of the time. There are a number of inconsistencies and imperfections in the glass that are original. Still a wonderful collector's piece. Priced accordingly.
